The piece consists of a compact vertical structure made from the superimposition of documents, papers, photographs, printed fragments, or domestic objects that the artist arranges in the shape of a pillar or tower. By stacking them in a precise and contained manner, Fors transforms fragile and ephemeral materials—normally scattered or forgotten—into a solid, stable, almost architectural structure.

“Palimpsesto,” Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba (Edificio de Arte Cubano, Sala temporal, 3er nivel), Havana, Cuba, December 22, 2017 – February 2018 (Large-scale solo exhibition prepared by the museum to honor the artist as Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas 2016. It featured the Columna, 2017/2018, a vertical paper installation as part of the monumental floor installation.)
